Rickard Rydell is mostly known since the years in the BTCC "Brittish Touring Car Championship" together with Volvo where he suceeded winning the championship in 1998. BTCC was considered the most prestigious championship for Touring Cars with 8 different Manufacturers fighting for the title in 1998! Some of Rickards other sucesses are FIA World Cup for Formula 3 Cars in 1992, Le Mans 24Hours win with Aston Martin in the GT categorie 2007 and a number of wins in the FIA European and World Touring Car Championships!
